Professional Insight
Q: What is your role at forbinfi, and what are your primary responsibilities?
A: I’m a Senior Account Executive at forbinfi, focused on helping financial institutions modernize their digital presence while staying secure and compliant. Day to day, I partner with banks and credit unions to align business goals with practical, measurable solutions—think secure web platforms, customer-centric experiences, and marketing strategies that actually move the needle.
Q: Can you share a bit about your career journey and how you ended up in your current position?
A: My career has always lived at the intersection of technology and client success. Starting in customer-facing roles across the web, cybersecurity, managed IT services, and marketing, I learned how digital decisions impact real business outcomes. Over time, that evolved into consultative sales—bringing strategy, implementation, and ROI together for financial institutions. I have worked in custom application development companies that understand the process that goes into developing wonderful digital experiences. If the products are the same, it comes in the marketplace. It comes down to process and people to differentiate your company to the public.
Q: What skills or experiences from previous roles have been most valuable in your current position?
A: I was a nationally certified therapist working on an advanced degree when I made the jump to digital transformation of companies. When you are a therapist, you have only a few sessions to help move the needle on a problem with your client. So, I got good at quickly finding the issue/s and helping develop solutions or problem-solving skills with the client to solve issues. Those skills translate well to technology sales and consulting.
Q: What is something you think financial institutions should know based on your expertise?
A: Digital transformation isn’t just a redesign—it’s a commitment to secure, compliant, and customer-centric systems. Prioritize data protection, intuitive user journeys, and analytics that guide smarter decisions. Institutions that marry security with simplicity will win the loyalty battle.
Q: What are your thoughts on the importance of community banking?
A: Community banks' superpower is proximity to their customers. Understanding local needs and customs allows them to act fast. With the right digital tools, they can keep that personal edge and deliver the experience customers expect.
Fun & Favorites
Q: Any hobbies or passions you'd like to share?
A: I love watching sports, attending sporting events, and playing sports. I played tennis in college and several other sports at the club level (soccer, USVBA Volleyball) and men's hockey after college.
My latest interests are golf, pickle ball, and long walks with my wife.
Q: If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: It would have to be pizza.
Q: What’s one item you can’t live without?
A: The love of my family.
Q: If you could pick any superpower, what would it be and why?
A: I would love to have the ability to fly. To see this great country of ours and other places in the world would be incredible.
